SUMMER BEGINS IN CRISFIELD!
Join celebrity chef, Chef Max Hardy, as he kicks off the summer in Crisfield for the annual Crab & Cruise Weekend in Crisfield, MD. The weekend begins on Friday, June 21, 2013 at The Crab Place for food and wine festival hosted by Chef Max with invited chefs, Chef Jerome Brown and Chef Rudy Straker. Mix and mingle with friends as you enjoy delicious food prepared by some of the NBA athletes’ private chefs. You will also taste a varietal of wine and spirits from our sponsors, all while you enjoy live sounds of smooth jazz, oldies, and R&B music the whole night.
There will also be an auction to benefit Chef Max’s foundation, One Chef Can 86 Hunger and The Crab Place’s Crisfield Community Scholarship. The Foundation’s mission is to fight the hunger crisis in America, helping people live healthier cost effectively; The Foundation also raises money to help support students in culinary arts. The Crisfield Community Scholarship rewards students who have donated their time and efforts to building the community of Crisfield.
Don’t let the fun end Friday night! Come back to The Crab Place on Saturday, June 22, 2013 to enjoy an all-you –can-eat seafood fest. Meet Chef Max, Chef Jerome, and Chef Rudy while listening to great music and sharing lots of laughs. The weekend doesn’t end until after we all dock back from the sunset cruise on the Chesapeake Bay!
